The decision to use CAT for admission into the IITs and IISc will minimise the test preparation and financial burden on candidates," said LS Ganesh, former head of the IIT-Madras management department.

The five original IITs - Kharagpur, Bombay, Madras, Kanpur and Delhi - as also IIT-Roorkee, are among India's earliest institutions to have offered postgraduate and research programmes in management since the 1960s.

"CAT is an ideal fit for IITs as it is a well-evolved, established, standardised and widely accepted entrance exam for admission into PG programmes in management in India," Ganesh said.

"This is a major initiative that brings two premier higher education systems together. We anticipate that this will result in closer tie-ups and collaborative research work that will provide both sets of institutions a competitive edge in the long run," CAT 2011 convenor Janakiraman Moorthy said.

CAT 2011 will be conducted over a 20-day window from October 22-November 18 across 36 cities.

To succeed ; one needs luck and character : Mr N. However, high performance should not make you arrogant because arrogance leads to hubris.”

But hard work alone would not help you if you cannot defeat your mindset, said Mr Murthy. “The mind is an engine of progress, while your mindset is a database of experience which holds you back. The test will be conducted between October 22 and November 18, 2011. Candidates will have 70 minutes to answer 30 questions in each section which will have an on-screen countdown timer. Once the time ends for the first section, they will move to the second and will not be able to go back. The system is being called by the name of Boot to Gecko, or B2G, and it is being designed solely for mobile devices.

The beauty of the project, B2G, being envisaged by Mozilla is that it takes Chrome’s open source ideas to the mobile space. For instance, B2G will have ways for developers to get at phone functions like placing calls and taking pictures. The kernel is based on Android, at a very low level. ..........

Features that makes Google+ more interesting ... Do not miss it ...... but use it

Google has come up with a very novel idea of offering a substitute for Facebook to world around. It has inaugurated the service named Google+ that is said to provide a much private and secure medium for subscribers which Facebook failed to serve. Google+ is the tech giant's latest attempt to crack the social network market.

1. Circles - The “Circles” concept of the Google is far more comparable to our real life friend circles than the “ad hoc” group concept of the Facebook. Everyday, we interact with hundreds of people but not always in the same way. The Google+ lets you create different circles to which you can add different people you want. For example, you can create one circle for your family, one circle for your work people, one for your old classmates and as many as you want. The biggest touted perk is that you can share the things with the circle that you want and the other circles won’t ever know of it.

2. Using the '+' One of the key features of Google+ is its streamlined approach to online sharing. Google has described the process as "awkward, even broken" and their new network aims to fix that.

Google+ is integrated into the navigation bar at the top of almost all Google products, which allows users to keep track of their Google+ notifications without doubling back to the main Google+ homepage.

3. Integration : Integration is one of the biggest feature that Google has in its hands to win over the audience. It's nothing but all of Google's existing online services like Gmail, Docs, search features are combined on to a single platform in Google+ and you can do everything on the same site.

4. Sparks : Google has done something that Facebook will not be able to do, with Google+ Spark.

When you are networking on Facebook, you often have to leave the site for finding shareable information with your friends. Google+'s Spark is an instant solution to that problem. Google has optimised its search engine to provide instant search for finding stuff you wanna share. Since Facebook doesn't have a search engine, it is obvious that this feature can't be provided by Facebook.

5. Hangouts - The feature allows users to pull groups together for a simultaneous video chat. You can chat with up to ten people in the group video chat option. Forming ad hoc groups to have a little chat with people you know seems a little too fun.

6. Better mobile apps Google+ has a lot better apps for Android users, rather than Facebook. You will find that it's a lot more easier to get stuff on your Google+ profile than it ever was on Facebook.

Google Plus provides alternative to many of the problems seen with Facebook.

Thanks to Satish Kumar and Gordon Macrae , Technicnal Blogger for providing the information. Acknowlegment to differnet URL for accessing the information.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://ac2dc.blogspot.com/2011/07/features-that-makes-google-more.html' title='Features that makes Google+ more interesting ... Hi, Welcome to new Entrant in new College……. Make it big from now onwards, ……..

New to College atmosphere....

It's a whole new chapter in your life. You leave behind the secure environment of your school and your childhood and embark upon an education that will have a direct impact upon your career.... So rock it till the time you are in college.

College is a new place full of challenges, right from making good friends to balancing study time and freedom .... freedom. so start it on right way with right direction...

A. Explore your new college campus. Explore the facilities provided the college .Come a little earlier than usual and walk around your campus before your classes begin and get familiar with the layout and various departments and places eg the library, canteen, gymkhana, auditorium etc.

B. Make new friends as you moving from one corner to another corner. Do not miss the orientation programme. Introduced yourself. Interact with seniors students of the college. Talk to them; seek their advice and learn more about your stream and course. You can use their experience and tackle freshman issues better. Choose your new friends wisely.

C. Find out who the best professors from your college are and take time off and introduce yourself to them after the class. You have to spend the rest of the semester under their guidance. How much you enjoy any course depends to some extent upon your relationship with the professor. Don't be scared to raise your hand and ask your professors questions if you don't understand something. There is no such thing as a stupid question. Your question may be one that others may also have, but just haven't asked for the same reason as you. Remember, professors are there to help you. If they insist on meeting you after class, find time for the same. "Also ensure that you are not overdoing it. Keep your relations as brief and academic as possible .

D. Attend classes regularly. While it may be tempting to bunk college and indulge in a game of football with friends, do not do so at the cost of your attendance. Maintain 90-95 percent to appear for better understanding of the subject and marks in exams. Otherwise you are in the list of “Defaulter “in the College. .

E. Participate the Extra Curricular activities. Do not shy and hesitant to participate in extra-curricular activities as per your taste like in singing , dancing , debates, elocution, painting, organizing etc.

F. identifies the difficult subjects in your semester. Chalk out a timetable and allot yourself time to prepare for each subject. Always keep a copy of syllabus and do not wait till the last day to submit work on a subject . Attend Labs session more and more.

More information from Rediffmail.

Most students think that they can make more friends by bunking lectures. Wrong. In fact, they can make more friends by sitting in a class and sharing knowledge.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://ac2dc.blogspot.com/2011/07/hey-hi-welcome-to-new-entrant-in-new_19.html' title='Hey ! Welcoming the distinguished guests, Prof. Sharma said, "Technical societies in educational institutions play a crucial role in bridging the gap between what the course curriculum offers to the students and what the industry expects. I am hopeful that SITE would act as a connection between the world of academia and world of industry and aid us in transforming graduating engineers to professional engineers."

Stating that IT has made rapid strides in all areas of human activity, Prof Roy urged students to take IT to those sections of society that have not been benefited by IT. "Can you reverse 'Society for IT Engineers' to 'IT Engineers for Society' and do something for not just your own professional development but for the society at large," he asked the students.

Chief Guest at the occasion, Mr Prasad, complimented the University for establishing a Society for IT students. He even invited DTU students to work with them on live projects undertaken by the Department of IT, Govt. of Delhi. He said, "We are keen to provide efficient services and readdress grievances of residents of Delhi in a more effective way, by using IT, and I call upon the students to think about how we can achieve that. I would like DTU students to conceptualize and implement new projects in E-Governance and citizen services."

The inaugural function of SITE was followed by a technical session by Mr Tapan Paul, Regional Sales Head, Motorola India. SITE would be organizing several activities like workshops, seminars, projects etc. for students to nurture their technical skills and unleash their talent in areas like programming, designing, web development, image processing, robotics, hacking, animation and others.

--

Rajwinder Singh
Head, Dept of Computer Science and Engineering
First Floor , Engineering Block I,
Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran (Mohali)-140307, Punjab, India
Phone : +91-0172-3984200 Ext 216
+91-0172-3984216 (Direct)
+ 91- 9781925246 (Mobile)
Fax : +91-0172-3984207
E-Mail:cecm.cse@gmail.com
URL : www.cecmohali.org/cse.asp

Blog URL : www.ac2dc.blogspot.com

Fulbright –Nehru fellowships for teachers, lecturers announced

India Edutaction Review :

The US-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) has announced various scholarship programmes for teacher exchange, research, post doctoral studies and academic courses. Rummage through your ancestral bell metal, copper or silver plates and holders. Arrange pots and jugs on a tray or plate and top up with twigs, berries and leaves, anything that catches your eye - no need for expensive flowers. It is the arrangement of unconventional vases, grouped together, that creates the USP.

Bottled up! Put together an attractive ensemble using bottles in various shapes and sizes, dress each bottle up with bits of lace and place similar blooms inside to lift them out of the ordinary and create a harmonious group. Tip: Don't overcrowd, try small flowers with long stems such as Pride of India or Baby's Breath. Change the water daily for a fresh, clean look.

Communication station Easy organising To keep track of the daily onslaught of slips, bills, and junk mail, set up this station in your study. A wall-mounted magazine rack gives each family member a slot for his or her papers, a look here calendar is for quick reference, along with flyers, invites, and such.

Things to keep and things to toss out-

Keep - an envelope tacked to the bulletin board to stash coupons, gift certificates, or other money-savers you might need to grab on your way out, saving you cash without costing you that other valuable asset - time.

Toss - one thing for every new item you bring in. When you've got this much coming in and out, it's easy to have everything pile up. So once something goes in your magazine or mail bin, something must go out.

Keep - a trash can or recycling bin for all the mail and papers you've dealt with - or already know are junk. When possible, sign up for online opt-outs such as electronic billing.

1. Sort smart: Stop mail clutter - use a tiered bin with three sections: In for important mail (bills, papers???), Out for outgoing mail, Read for materials to peruse later (magazines, books???). Have children place important paperwork for you in the 'In' box, once handled, move it to their slot (on previous page).

2. Make note: A sticky note on the door is the perfect can't-miss-it reminder. Tuck the notepad and pen in a bin (near your station) meant for holding outgoing items, say those library books that are due tomorrow.

3. Pen it in: A colour-coded calendar (with a different hue for each person) will keep the family on schedule. Just jot down events that involve multiple members (may be activities that require a driver...). Purge your bulletin board of no-longer-needed papers when you change the calendar page.
Reproduced From Good Housekeeping. © 2011. LMIL. They do not spend much. Also, Japan exports far
more than it imports. Has an annual trade surplus of over 100
billions. Yet Japanese economy is considered weak, even collapsing.

Americans spend, save little. Also US imports more than it exports.
Has an annual trade deficit of over $400 billion. Yet, the American
economy is considered strong and trusted to get stronger.

But where from do Americans get money to spend? They borrow from
Japan , China and even India .
Virtually others save for the US to spend. Global savings are mostly
invested in US, in dollars.

India itself keeps its foreign currency assets of over $50 billions in
US securities. China has sunk over $160 billion in US securities.
Japan 's stakes in US securities is in trillions.

Result:

The US has taken over $5 trillion from the world. So, as the world
saves for the US - Its The Americans who spend freely. Today, to keep
the US consumption going, that is for the US economy to work, other
countries have to remit $180 billion every quarter, which is $2
billion a day, to the US !

A Chinese economist asked a neat question. Who has invested more, US
in China , or China in US? The US has invested in China less than half
of what China has invested in US.

The same is the case with India . We have invested in US over $50
billion. But the US has invested less than $20 billion in India .

Why the world is after US?

The secret lies in the American spending, that they hardly save. In
fact they use their credit cards to spend their future income. That
the US spends is what makes it attractive to export to the US . So US
imports more than what it exports year after year.

The result:
The world is dependent on US consumption for its growth. By its
deepening culture of consumption, the US has habituated the world to
feed on US consumption. But as the US needs money to finance its
consumption, the world provides the money.

It's like a shopkeeper providing the money to a customer so that the
customer keeps buying from the shop. If the customer will not buy, the
shop won't have business, unless the shopkeeper funds him. The US is
like the lucky customer. And the world is like the helpless shopkeeper
financier.

Who is America 's biggest shopkeeper financier? Japan of course. Yet
it's Japan which is regarded as weak. Modern economists complain that
Japanese do not spend, so they do not grow. To force the Japanese to
spend, the Japanese government exerted itself, reduced the savings
rates, even charged the savers. Even then the Japanese did not spend
(habits don't change, even with taxes, do they?). Their traditional
postal savings alone is over $1.2 trillions, about three times the
Indian GDP. Thus, savings, far from being the
strength of Japan , has become its pain.

Hence, what is the lesson?

That is, a nation cannot grow unless the people spend, not save. Not
just spend, but borrow and spend.
Dr. Jagdish Bhagwati, the famous Indian-born economist in the US , told
Manmohan Singh that Indians wastefully save. Ask them to spend, on
imported cars and, seriously, even on cosmetics! This will put India
on a growth curve. This is one of the reason for MNC's coming down to
India , seeing the consumer spending.

'Saving is sin, and spending is virtue.'

But before you follow this Neo Economics, get some fools to save so
that you can borrow from them and spend !!!

--

Rajwinder Singh
Head, Dept of Computer Science and Engineering
First Floor , Engineering Block I,
Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran (Mohali)-140307, Punjab, India
Phone : +91-0172-3984200 Ext 216
The university has been receiving numerous complaints against evaluation, which is on the rise with each passing year. Majority of these complaints pertain to discrepancies in mark sheets.

"No matter how careful the evaluators are, discrepancies do creep in. The university is working towards computerisation of all results. This would check the possibilities of human error that creep in during the process of making results," said Panjab University Controller of Examinations Prof AK Bhandari.

The staff is being trained to make the transition. "The university had undertaken a trial to switch over to feed data in computer for limited courses this year to gauge what difficulties and problems can be faced by the staff members. Now that all issues have been taken care of, the university is hopeful that the entire switch over would be successful for this academic session," added Bhandari.

Major concerns were raised by some senate members in its meeting held recently over the discrepancies in the mark sheets. Citing instances, one of the members pointed out that the difference in the actual result and that written on the mark sheet is sometimes more than 50 (instead of 54 marks as given by the evaluator, only 4 marks are hand written on the mark sheet).

The university had already conducted a trial by introducing computerised results in some of the postgraduate courses this year. This would be adopted for all courses now on.

However, Panjab University Vice-Chancellor RC Sotbi, in the senate has ruled the possibility of online tests due to technical intricacies and loopholes in such online exams. Going the by the glitches that were faced by the IIMs while conducting the online CAT, the university is not willing conduct tests online unless a fool-proof system evloves.

--

Rajwinder Singh
Head, Dept of Computer Science and Engineering
First Floor , Engineering Block I,
Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran (Mohali)-140307, Punjab, India
Phone : +91-0172-3984200 Ext 216
+91-0172-3984216 (Direct)
+ 91- 9781925246 (Mobile)
Fax : +91-0172-3984207
E-Mail:cecm.cse@gmail.com
URL : www.cecmohali.org/cse.asp

Blog URL : www.ac2dc.blogspot.com

Unique Identification To Track Fake Degrees

The Ministry of Human Resource Development and Unique Identification Authority of India signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the presence of Kapil Sibal, Union Minister of Human Resource Development and Nandan Nilekani, Chairman, UIDAI, on October 27. Amit Khare, Joint Secretary in the HRD Ministry signed the MOU on behalf of the HRD Ministry and Anil Kachi, Deputy Director General signed on behalf of UIDAI.

The proposed MOU would be helpful in tracking students' mobility by creating an electronic registry of all students, right from primary/elementary level through secondary and higher education, as also between the institutions. Imprinting of UID number on performance record of individual students (marksheets, merit certificates, migration certificates) will also be helpful to prospective employers and educational institutions. UID number will help in tracking problems of fake degrees. UID can also be utilized while dematting of academic certificates as also education loan and scholarship schemes. It would also be useful in the implementation of Mid-Day Meal Scheme.

The HRD Ministry will co-operate and collaborate with the UIDAI in conducting proof of concept (PoC) studies, pilots to test the working of the technology and process of enrolment into the UID database, identify Registrars for the implementation of the UID project (PoC and pilots). The ministry will help ensure that the Registrar shall do all that is necessary to effectively complete the PoCs and pilots; and put in place an institutional mechanism to effectively oversee and monitor the implementation of the UID project and provide logistic and liaison support to the staff and representatives of UIDAI.

The Government has set up the UIDAI for the issuing of UID number to all the residents of India, based on demographic and biometric data of the individual. The challenges are twofold, those of quantity and those of quality.

1. Aim for the best faculty, and the best students you can attract
The best universities are about the truly gifted students being taught and mentored by an exceptional faculty in a virtuous cycle. At the end of the day, a really good university is about the people on its campus.

2. Spend accordingly
Recruiting high-quality faculty requires money for internationally competitive salaries but even more so for infrastructure and for seeding research efforts before they become selffinancing. Money is a tool to recruit exceptional students certainly if absolute financial need is an issue, but also in some cases where the very best ones you might wish to attract, have attractive offers elsewhere. You can't build a really good institution on the cheap.

3. Aim small
You will have only so much money to spend. There are only so many fine academics willing to live in India today that you can recruit almost entirely Indians. Education is labour intensive. And, the best institutions have a small number of students per faculty member (my own, Princeton, has an incredible five students per faculty member). Such ratios allow efficient mentoring and student involvement in research while enhancing the transmission of knowledge that a university necessarily engages in. Small is also easier to manage in respect of quality control. [For comparison, Princeton has 7,500 students and no professional schools; Harvard has about 20,000 students and a set of professional schools].

4. Focus on faculty
The quality of faculty is key. Given the paucity of high-quality institutions in India, the pool of good students available to our new university is likely to allow recruitment of an exceptional body of students. The same is not true of faculty recruitment. With faculty, quality attracts quality—you want to be where so-and-so is present already. With faculty, critical mass is also important in most modern disciplines—you need colleagues to talk to about research on a daily basis, which makes it more important to hire wisely. This implies the need for selectivity in the areas in which you hire. Finally, faculty members last a long time—a problematic set of hires at the start can mar the tone of the institution for a long time.

5. Postpone professional education
Law, medical and business schools are wonderful additions to a university—but they are different in important ways from core academic areas (pure science, mathematics and humanities and social sciences). Initially, as you seek to define the character of the new institution, it would be best to not have to work out a 'balance' between core and professional education sectors. You can always add them on.

6. Pick an impressive academic leadership
While academic administrators necessarily sacrifice their own research productivity in the interests of an institution, it helps enormously if they come with genuine intellectual accomplishments. Such people command respect from their faculty colleagues and are far better able to judge the virtues of various competing claims on the scarce resources of the institution.

7. Empower the leadership
Much as I hate to say this as a faculty member, an institution that lacks the power centre, charged with watching out for its global interests, is likely to become a hostage to inertia. What is needed is a balance of power—where faculty has the opportunity to be heard collectively on issues that matter. But, at the same time, individuasl academic units are not the last word on their own practices—especially on hiring and promotion.

8. Build external review
For the foreseeable future, India is likely to have a small internationally-competitive higher education sector. This will make it hard to obtain purely market-driven readings of how an institution is faring. To compensate for this, build in a systematic review process involving faculty and administrators from outside India, who periodically examines all aspects of the institution

9. Incentivise the faculty
It is true that faculty do not get into academics to maximise cash returns, but they are not immune to the charms of incentives. A good university has many incentives at its disposal: reasonable differentials in pay, discretionary research funds for individual faculty, teaching relief, sabbaticals, a willingness to make additional hires in areas of interest to existing faculty, a willingness to provide funds for more public activities such as visitor programmes in support of specific research efforts. These can be used to encourage faculty to lead productive front-rank research careers. Related incentives can be used to advance the teaching mission of the institution with the caveat that experience around the world suggests that when push comes to shove the research criterion should prevail over others. At the junior stage there is the incentive of a tenure decision. As our university takes off and becomes the employer of choice, it should be able to use the tenure process to identify exceptional candidates for recruitment. In this sector set for massive expansion, selectivity in tenure at a few top institutions will be offset by a large number of jobs elsewhere.

10. Offer four-year undergraduate degrees
The American model allows for exploration. It allows some students to work out their true interests over a period of time with very productive consequences. The longer period also allows students to develop a closer relationship with the faculty. More practically, it allows the new university to interface more easily with the US, which is likely to prove attractive to students for the foreseeable future.

11. Supplement permanent faculty with less expensive manpower
Senior undergraduates could be paid to grade entering courses, graduate students can work as teaching assistants while pursuing their degrees, good teachers from the large pool of existing Indian universities could be enticed to come and teach specific courses on leave from their home institutions for short periods. Less expensive staff could be utilised to help with routine academic tasks.

12. Use IT
Information technology (IT) can boost the fundamental educational productivity. Entry-level instruction could benefit substantially from the introduction of expert systems that do everything—from examining students, which they already do, to actually instructing them on specific tasks of problem-solving, which seems well within the reach of existing technology. If our university can harness these advances it would enable its scarce resource— the high-quality faculty to focus on more advanced instruction thus effectively boosting the faculty student ratio. Given the strengths of Indian companies in IT, that seems to be an especially promising direction for our new university to build into its very DNA. Another use of IT would be to allow faculty and students to connect seamlessly to the broader world of learning. High-bandwidth access to international databases and electronic publications should be provided where possible. Videoconferencing and collaborative software can make learning even more exciting. There is no reason, that the high-quality but small physics department at the university could not host terrific talks delivered by distant colleagues via videoconferencing. However, it will find it hard to persuade the same number to hop on a plane and fly half around the world.

13. Be India specific
Our university may have some trouble competing with the established heavyweights of the international academic world in fields which are not very country specific. However there is no reason why cannot build its brand by establishing the best programmes in the world on topics that relate specifically to India. Examples that come to mind are Indian languages and literature, social science work specific to India, Indian history, India's fine arts, Indian archeology, Indian biodiversity and genetics. Given resources, selectivity and freedom from academic political fashions it seems to me a relatively straightforward task of the new University to put itself on the map in these areas.

14. Build a postdoctoral scholar programme
At least initially, our university will find it easier to attract a higher calibre of undergraduate student, then a graduate student. The best graduate students will probably still find themselves attracted to the very best universities in the world outside India. As this will pose of a challenge to faculty in the pursuit of their own research, it would be wise for our new university to explore options to recruit postdoctoral scholars where possible with attractive fellowships. As such scholars will come with a fair amount of training already under their belts, they would provide a welcome addition to the research effort.

--

Rajwinder Singh
Head, Dept of Computer Science and Engineering
First Floor , Engineering Block I,
Chandigarh Engineering College, Landran (Mohali)-140307, Punjab, India
Phone : +91-0172-3984200 Ext 216
+91-0172-3984216 (Direct)
+ 91- 9781925246 (Mobile)
Fax : +91-0172-3984207
E-Mail:cecm.cse@gmail.com
URL : www.cecmohali.org/cse.asp

Blog URL : www.ac2dc.blogspot.com

Indian Oil Corporation Limited ( IOCL ) is recruiting through GATE 2010

Dear All ,

Eligibility: BE/B.Tech (Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Instrumentat ion & Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical /Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering)

Location: Any where in India Job Category: Govt Sector, Technical Last Date: 12 February 11

Job Type: Full Time Hiring Process: Written-test.

Job Details : IndianOil is looking for bright result–oriented professionals to join its journey of growth. The candidate should already possess Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE) along with the 10 years of industry experience. The certification will cost $15,000.

"This certification will encourage the business to view 'network architecture' as a job function in itself and not as 'part' of a job" says Fred Weiller, the Cisco spokesperson. "The CCIE has been the gold standard for network engineers. This is above the CCIE and is for a CCIE what an MBA is for the business world", says Zeus Kerravala, senior vice president, Yankee Group. "Companies often buy technology and then figure out what to do with it. That's very common. The ability to explain the technology in business terms is an especially needed skill."

Cisco expects that the certified architect will remain an elite certification and that the total number of candidates to achieve it on an annual basis will remain low, only “in the double digits” for the first two years, says Cisco program manager Sanjay Mehta. The students should adopt a proper well defined dress code during test, GD and interviews.

2. The students must maintain proper discipline and decorum at the time of campus placements. Any indiscipline / unlawful activity may tarnish the image of the college. Strict departmental action will be taken against the students, who will create any such problem. The student will also be blacklisted from all the future placements.

3. The students must carry college ID cards with them otherwise they will not be allowed to sit in the recruitment process at all.

4. Join your SMS group. All the relevant information will be shared through emails, sms and notice board. Also you can check the same on cgc.edu.in

5. The students should start preparing well for aptitude test, general maths, general English. Few companies also conduct psychometric test and group discussions. So, students should be well prepared.

6. The company might be interested in taking online test. So, at that time the students should not carry along with them pen drives / CDs and any such hardware, which could create a problem in test.

7. You must have your all DMCs and other related documents e.g passport size photos at the time of recruitment process. The company officials might ask for these documents at the time of interview.

8. For better preparation, you can visit websites like placementpapers.com, freshersworld.com and many more websites, which can be searched through google.

9. This online notice board www.cgc.edu.in will always keep you updated. So do make a habit to visit this page and checking your e-mails on a daily basis, so that there is no communication gap at all.

10. Share all the news with your classmates and roommates.

11. Don't spread rumours. Anyone found spreading rumours and misleading information will be punished.

Remember all this activity is for your future and your career. Any misbehaviour / miscommunication / unlawful activity may ruin your career. So, you are instructed to be well prepared, disciplined and aware about all activities.

All the Best.

SELECTION FOR QUALIFIED / FINAL YEAR ENGINEERS (MEN & WOMEN)

SELECTION FOR QUALIFIED / FINAL YEAR ENGINEERS (MEN & WOMEN)

IN TECHNICAL BRANCHES OF INDIAN AIR FORCE

Sir,

1.
